Candle care
Recommendations for safely extending the life of candles are as follows.
Burning time
first burn fromWhen using SMEN candles, please burn for at least two hours until the wax on the top of the candle has melted into a liquid. This will help your candle burn more evenly next time.
- Standard scented candles: burn up to 60 hours.
Trim the wick
Before using the candle, trim the wick to a length of 3 to 5 mm. Trimming the wick can make the candle burn more slowly. If the wick is too long, the fire will be too strong and it will cause black smoke. If the wick is too short, the fire will not burn evenly, and there will be a circle of candles left at the end. Candles last longer.
Adjust the wick
After blowing out the candle, center the wick and straighten it.
Safety
Never leave burning candles unattended, as this may cause a fire. Keep candles on a heat-resistant, non-flammable, level surface at all times, away from fabrics or curtains. Choose a place with no ventilation to avoid uneven burning. Never place candles on marble or glass surfaces. If the bottom of the hot candle glass touches the cold material, the glass may break.
Avoid ventilated locations
Because when the candle is burning, the candle will be affected by the humidity level and the size of the wind. When using the scented candle in the indoor space, try to avoid placing it by the window, air conditioner and fan. If the wind continues to blow, the candle will also be consumed. Faster, it will gradually lose the fragrance, and it may also be dangerous due to violent shaking.
Shipping & Return policy
We hope you enjoy what you ordered. However, if you are dissatisfied with the purchased product for any reason, you can return the product (in its original condition) within 14 working days from the date of purchase for a full refund or replacement. All returns and exchanges exclude limited edition items, gift wrap, and signed items. Customers who wish to return any online purchases by post should do so via contact us or Order Tracking Arrange to return the product and arrange to send the relevant product back within seven working days from the date of calling us.
Only exchanges and returns conducted in Hong Kong/local areas will be accepted. We do not accept international exchanges and returns. If customers wish to return any online purchased items by mail, they should contact us or use order inquiry to arrange the return, and the items must be sent back within seven working days from the date of our notification by phone.
Returned items must be unopened and in original packaging. We will not accept returns of items believed to have been opened or used. If you apply for a return due to personal reasons, the postage/shipping fee will be borne by the customer. If this is the case, the returned goods must be properly packaged and sent back to the designated address. No refund/replacement will be given if the item is damaged in any way.
Refunds (excluding original shipping charges) will be made to the original credit card used to purchase the item in question. We will not accept returns if we have reason to believe that the item has been used. If this is the case, we will notify you that no refund will be given and the goods will be returned to you within 28 days from the date of the notification.
